On this page you’ll be able to find all updated information about Brexit, specifically the information that could affect your order delivery.
Important information to know!
Brexit happened when the UK left the European Union on 31 January 2020.
From the 31st of January 2020 to the 31st of December 2020 we’ve been on what is called the transition period. Governments on each side have been negotiating the severance agreement between the UK and the European Union.
We’ve known for a while that impact to logistics and deliveries were to be expected. The vast majority of our stock is sent to a warehouse in Europe and from there distributed all over the world. We also have a warehouse in the UK that deals with all of the deliveries in the UK.
This is where the delays start. Any stock that is coming from the European Union into the UK, from the 31st of December 2020 will be subject to completely different sets of rules… rules that we don’t yet know how simple or how complex they will be.
As it stands, because we do not know if there will be a deal or a no deal situation it’s hard for us to estimate the impact.
From the 23rd of December 2020 to roughly the 15th of January 2021 we expect that we will not be able to meet any delivery dates unless the stock in question is already in the UK. We’re making provisions to bring as much stock as we can into the UK. but unfortunately this is a very costly operation, one that we need to do carefully.
Only the products that were expected to be released End of December & Early/Mid January will be affected. We do not expect others to be affected.
In Stock – Delivery 5 to 10 days
These will the most affected products as these are the ones in our European warehouse. You can expect that these will only be delivery mid January 2021.
In Stock – Delivery 1 to 2 days
These will not be affected as they are in the UK, ready to be delivered.
We do not expect these to be affected.
Of course! We are and will always continue in business. The only impact is on deliveries… which of course we understand that is a critical part of an online purchase.
We ask our new and existing customers to be patient and trust that we’re doing everything we can to get back to your orders ASAP. This does not depend on us, but the UK Government and the European Union reach a deal that will unblock the borders and trade.
